Thin Places, Thick Places (Series)
Day 7.
ELEVEN DAYS until Ms. A, Mr. J, Miss I, Agent Shades, and I fly across the pond for an international adventure.
Here’s a thick place of late:
I would be lying if I said that recent events (overseas) don’t weight on me a little. Not only does a deep melancholy reside in my heart for the victims of cowardly murderous terrorist attacks, but a gurgling pissed-off rebellion rises up within me.
How dare those fear-mongering terrorists use fear to rob, steal, and destroy world citizens’ peace as it pertains to safety. Granted, have we EVER really been “safe”? Still, such cowardice creates even more of a desire to show my kids the world. Those terrorist will not win.
Onward and upward, and across the pond we shall go!
Today, as it was yesterday, thin places abound. God shaped spaces. Relationships. That’s the common theme. Relationships exude God shaped spaces.
We had the pleasure of attending a wee picnic hosted by one of my daughter’s friends, a classmate. PERFECT Colorado day. I’m going to miss the astounding weather here. Cape Cod can be a bit grouchy in the weather department. But the ocean…
