Thin Places, Thick Places (Series)
Day 21
Tropical Ireland.
Lucky us. We happen to be in Ireland on, reportedly, the nicest weekend thus far. It seemed that EVERYONE was out and about starting yesterday morning through today.
I affectionately called the wee sandy beach we visited (properly known as Sandycove) South Beach (as in Miami).
According to Shane, two days of sun and heat in a row are very very rare. Hooray!
I also appreciated being in great and vast company of people with equally pale and pasty legs as mine. My people.
Ms. A, Mr. J, and Miss I had much needed time of fun and less structure. Although I will say that Mr. J's need for CONSTANT MOVEMENT and activity is feeling challenging. Structure gives him a sense of containment. I have to figure that out...
Agent Shades even seemed to enjoy some down time. He smiled! Until we dragged him off the remote beach with no people to the Irish version of South Beach.
We're all trying to grab some down time (and a little sunburn recovery) before we head out to Berlin tomorrow. Despicable Me 2, gearing up for D3, and homemade oat bread. Perfect.
