Thin Places, Thick Places Day 20--Transition

Thin Places, Thick Places (series)
Day 20
Transition.
We are in the throes of trying to emerge from jetlag. Emotions are a bit all over the map. Some moments are fun, others are annoying (between mom and the kids), the more tired I feel the harder I am on them and that doesn't go well.
Spent two days walking around Dublin in a semi-zombie state to stave off jet lag. Dublin is lovely, though. We happen to be here on one heck of a GORGEOUS weather weekend!
EVERYONE is out and about. St. Stephen's Park (city center) was full full full of people absolutely enjoying the weather.
I've learned a couple things so far. 1. Miss I and Mr. J aren't huge fans of museums. Too crowded and too confining. I'll be very choosy about which museums, as we go along, I subject them to. Ms. A is a great traveler! Just don't expect her to carry her fancy camera. Apparently the case is too hard to carry. Okaaaaaay.
2. Walking a lot hurts my feet.
3. The old Trinity College library was so beautiful it inspired Ms. A to want to attend Trinity College. Fun!
Great FOOD. Love the food. Good eats in Dublin and went to the sweet town of Howth for dinner (great seafood).
Agent Shades is also staving off jet lag, but he's going with our flow nicely. He has a neat feature on his fancy multi-purpose watch that tells the temperature. It was 90 degrees on the Dart commuter train today. Yes. On our way to Howth. It felt like a bonus sauna treatment.
Hoping to catch some beach time tomorrow.
Our host, Shane, and his family have been so gracious. They truly are our Irish family. They've had to endure some quirky things from us and have given us a home away from home. We are SO appreciative to Veronica ButlerPaul ButlerMartina Harris, and Shane Butler for the rides, food, shirts, patience and love. 💜💜💜🍀🍀🍀
To be continued...
