Day 14.

4 days until lift-off.

Laundry.

I try. I promise.

I REALLY try to have victory over laundry.

However, five humans, two dogs, two girls who subscribe to the "wear it once" law (I'm working on them), three messy children, a scattered mother, an impending move, an international trip that requires ninja packing skills (and clean clothes), and a half-working washing machine all collide together into a horrific, rank, furry, damp, wretched mountain of biohazardous textiles which require EMERGENCY ATTENTION.

Back to the far away place that has big huge machines. Even if it is on the one "date day" (kids are at one last sleepover with the grands) with my husband before lift-off and 6 weeks apart.

We're adulting. Sometimes it's what needs to happen.
